A Gallery of Sleep Positions with My Children

My sleep is regularly disturbed by my sons. In spite of this I am continually impressed by their ingenuity and imagination when it comes to their nightly manoeuvres. I’ve paid tribute to the inspiring variety of their positions with a series of sketches. It’s not quite a retrospective because we continue to co-sleep.

I’ve ended with the position that hasn’t actually happened yet, but it’s the position I fear the most:

The Reverse Spoon

And this one…

The 'Where Is He?'

Any good?

  1. Heya – found your post on “father inc” regarding your sons friend “bob” – really interesting post! Also really enjoyed this one… ever run into the dangers of rolling over in your sleep and accidentally squishing your kid though? As someone who tosses and turns in his sleep – half of those positions would render me as the worst dad ever and my soon to be son/daughter isn’t even born yet! (due next May 2017) Enjoyed the post and followed – looking forward to more and how your sons friendship with “Bob” develops.. lol
